Immersion/Language-Focused Experience

Immersion brings language to life and allows students to experience language beyond the classroom, as a tool to communicate with new people and learn about things from a different perspective.

L&F programs provide the opportunity to truly experience another language and culture rather than just view sites as a tourist. By using centrally located hotels, local transportation and authentic local restaurants, L&F travelers participate in the culture and better understand and appreciate it.

L&F’s extensive preparation materials in the language help participants practice and prepare to get the most out of their experience.

Just as speech, debate, sports teams, and music groups need performance opportunities to develop and improve their skills, language students need an immersion opportunity to "perform" the language they are learning and take part in the culture they are studying.
