Leader Workshop: Held in Bloomington, MN, the last weekend of January each year, this workshop is designed to bring together new and experienced teachers to provide a forum for ideas about traveling with students. L&F staff, joined by several veteran teachers, present information and suggestions to help you as you prepare for your program abroad. Evaluations describe the workshop as energizing and renewing!

Study Materials: Educational material in the target language covering topics such as architecture, art, sports, schools, transportation, restaurants, money, family life, vocabulary, dialogues, and interactive activities and links. Some leaders use these materials as part of their curriculum. They are written exclusively for Language & Friendship and available on CD.

I love the study materials CD – particularly the interactive parts and information about history, economy, daily life and the family stay. All students can benefit from these.
