National French Week!
How did the L&F staff celebrate? We enjoyed a French lunch of quiches, baguettes and pastries from Pardon My French, a local French bakery near our office in Minnesota and we will also be meeting with the head chef of Chez Daniel, another wonderful local French restaurant.
Since the Armistice that stopped all fighting in World War I is celebrated on November 11 (during National French Week!), it seems fitting to recommend viewing the movie "Joyeux Noël", or one of the other wonderful suggestions in the Pioneer Press - click here to read the article.
Whether it's sampling the cuisine, enjoying some music, or watching your favorite French movie, share your love of the French culture and celebrate National French Week!

Students from Brighton High School and Scranton Middle School in Brighton, MI, welcomed 22 students from Bailly-Romainvillers, France, in April for a two-week visit and cultural exchange.
